With an impressive and diverse track record in the tourism industry, Dr. Cem Kinay delivers high-quality, all-inclusive travel packages to individuals and families around the world. While still employed as a physician at the Vienna General Hospital (AKH), Dr. Cem Kinay pursued a long-held interest in travel and founded Gulet Touristik in 1987. Finding entrepreneurship preferable to the medical profession, Dr. Cem Kinay soon devoted the entirety of his time, energy, and resources to his endeavors at Gulet Touristik and embarked upon a quest to make his company the premiere travel organization in Austria. As a result of Dr. Cem Kinay’s tireless efforts, Gulet Touristik earned the enviable status as the leading charter tour operator in Europe by 1996. Dr. Cem Kinay bought a competitor, Touropa, in 1997, and combined the two companies into Gulet Touropa Touristik. Joining forces with German travel company TUI, Dr. Cem Kinay further expanded the offerings of Gulet Touristik and enjoyed a highly profitable relationship with his new travel partner until the sale of his shares four years later. Providing comprehensive tourism packages to savvy travelers around the world, including pre-paid restaurants, nightlife, boat trips, sporting events, live shows, and more, Dr. Cem Kinay established Club Magic Life as the most desired and sought-after travel companion in the Mediterranean. Developing Club Magic Life destinations in Egypt, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Tunisia, and elsewhere, Dr. Cem Kinay has grown Magic Life into a giant of the all-inclusive European tourism industry, commanding 23 hotels and 22,000 beds and serving the needs of more than 500,000 European guests per year.
